They believe instead that our clothes should be made sustainably and worn with pride. They believe our beauty products should show as much respect for animals as they do our skin and the food we eat should be thoughtfully prepared, avoiding waste and supporting local communities. That’s why they are doing what they can to help us make the most sustainable choices.
This outlook prompted the creation of their Buying Better / Inspiring Change initiative and, more recently, an emerging talent programme - Bright New Things.
Each season, emerging designers and makers are introduced to the Bright New Things network. They search out those who place sustainable innovation at the heart of their creative process and their business allowing us as consumers keep up with current trends while keeping our conscience clean.
La Pochette is proud to have been named a Bright New Thing this season, recognised for our promotion of sustainable practices in everyday life and our considered approach when designing our collection, incorporating recycled, biodegradable and toxic-free materials throughout.
